Scooter Day 5

Day 5 of Scooter at the Ranch. It can take up to six months for him to be rehabilitated. Youth in our program become actively involved in this process. They learn valuable lessons from a case like this. Scooter will receive lots of love and attention from his new caretakers.

Horse Rescue at Reaching Hands Ranch

Scooter is one of three horses who need our help. He was given up to us by his owner last week and we are hopeful he will do the same with the mare and foal that remain there. As a rescue organization in Wyoming, we are more or less on our own as our State Statutes make legal enforcement difficult. It is an unfortunate situation and we do our very best to work with owners of animals such as Scooter to take the horses and get them the care they need.
